Estudio de Competencia en el Autotransporte Federal de Pasajeros
Abstract
This study analyzes the intercity bus transportation sector to identify obstacles to competition and free market access and proposes a set of recommendations to eliminate or mitigate them. The study found that the regulation and the form of intervention by regulators in this sector inhibit technological change and prevent the emergence of new business models, despite the fact that this sector was partially deregulated in 1993.
