Presented at the California Workers’ Compensation Institute’s 61st Annual Meeting, themed “The Past Is Preview.” The event convened industry leaders to reflect on 25 years of system changes and examine how today’s economic and political trends may shape the future of California’s workers’ compensation. I joined a session with Dr. Sarah Bohn (Vice President of Research and Senior Fellow at the Public Policy Institute of California), contributing to a discussion on economic forces, workforce dynamics, and the impact of medical inflation on the industry.
